Brian is from from Syracuse New York where he began playing drums at the age of 8 years. After seeing The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show, he got his first Ludwig Drum Set and began playing with local bands. By the age of 15 Brian was playing professionally in rock bands, show bands, teaching privately, and performing in various pit orchestra musical productions.
Brian moved to Los Angeles where he immediately began making recording demos for singer songwriters, bands, and solo artists. Working for famed producer Bob Margouleff (Stevie Wonder, Devo) Brian was asked to record demos for singer songwriter, Tim Dulaine, which led to the formation of Blind Date. Brian was also playing showcases and club dates for LA bands and singers in and around Los Angeles. Songwriter Jack Lee (Hanging on the Telephone, Blondie, Come Back and Stay, Paul Young) hired Brian to record many of his demos and play in his band.
